5:40 Merely one month and three days after Kyalami I bet Zorzi remembered very well what his other engine failure triggered in South Africa and this time chose to enter the pits instead...
Grande Lole ! Siempre entre los mejores ❤ the best tester Ever!
Hesketh got it wrong about Jim Clark's comments; they weren't about Mario but were about Dan Gurney.
4:25 He did a Spa 2000
Meanwhile the US-backed ruling military junta were arresting political opponents and throwing them out of military planes into the ocean after torturing them.
Che belle senza quei stupidi alettoni
needs remaster
I was aged 6 in 1978, one memory i have carried with me for the last 44 years (approx), being at my Gran and Grandad house, my Grandad played a cassette tape to me, it was Formula 1 racing cars, even to this day, i adore the sounds of the older F1 cars, magnificent sound. Thanks Grandad
thx
The good old days. Gone forever.
É. O Brundle foi 5o no Brasil e até 2o em Detroit (EUA), mas aí em Julho desse mesmo ano (1984) a falcatrua da Tyrrell foi descoberta!
Back when race tracks werent gay.
No sound?
Hunt speaks nice.
No audio?
I just low how people just walk across the track back then 😂 so refreshing
It was this drive that convinced Enzo Ferrari to sign Stirling for the Scuderia. What might have been if it weren't for that fateful Easter Monday race at Goodwood.
So many f1 drivers killed in rain. Executives are evil.
4:33 balls!!
These were the days. F1,Indy car, Nascar....all of it
Great performance by Jody Scheckter with his Ferrari 312T4
Jackie Stewart is a wise man he saw the talent Jody had
That rob walker 18 was something beautiful
This is sooooo much better than F1 today. Can't put my finger on it, but today's F1 looks too easy, artificial.
Clone-job cars, with semi-automatic transmissions and _Waaaay_ too much sponsorship plastered all over them. Not to mention the fact of city races & clutter of go-kart circuits are not that appealing - to me anyways. Monaco should be reclassified as a 'Non-Championship' event, since the race is typically over by the time Pole Position has been determined. Less soap operas then compared to the driver's _'Handbags At Dawn'_ that the media seems to be obsessed with these days.
Some amazing corners sort the men from the boys Compared to today maybe three good corners in the WHOLE Season
Why people watch F1 anymore is beyond me Big massive Tracks with terrible corners mostly 90° right handers at the end of every straight Well we don't won't the little darlings to get bruised or perish the thought killed
Beantifull the Race ! My Good , big Sprint !
The GREEN Lotus. Huh ???
British racing green, the cars raced in national colours before sponsorship came along. Germany white or silver, Italy red, France blue, GB green.
@@terrystevens5261 the Moss lotus was dark blue with a white noseband. Rob Walker the owner was Scottish. Any excuse to get away from that awfull dark green!
@@robertknight5429 Yes the private entries raced their cars in what was appropriate for them. i remember Siffert winning at Brands in a Rob Walker Lotus 49B . I prefer British racing green to the automotive billboards we see these days.
Problem was, by the mid 60s nearly all the cars would habe been supposed to have been dark green. BRP had bright mint green didn't they? And Parnells had a nice dark blue and red.
Who's here after the 2022 Japanese Grand Prix?
Surely Lauda must have regretted not continuing
That 1.5 L formula produced some great racing.
what cars should sound like not what we have now
I thought those missing panels were not put on to add lightness and not that they fell off or were lost
Estuve ahí.. inolvidable!!
Que ver esos f1 en persona?
🙋♂️ 🏎 🏁

Doesn't say what happened to Brabham.....
I love Hunt's final comment in the interview, that he wishes he and Lauda could've shared the championship.
James Hunt and Niki Lauda didn't have a rivalry, they were just mates who fucked around and pushed each other
5:00 Patrick Neve in the first race for Williams. RIP Sir Frank
The MP4/2 is just stunning, fast too.
And the start of the most gifted F1 career of them all
these old ground effect cars were some of the craziest and coolest designs in F1. Aston's finally bringing back weird ground effect designs in 2022 from what it looks like
wow F1 racing held on the same day as the American Super Bowl(Dallas vs Denver)
I remember watching this race on TV, it was the only race ( apart from British GP) that the BBC used to televise in those days. And I remember enthusing about it with others, next day at school. Obviously Moss' wonderful drive plus how few cars were left in the race, 5 or 6 I think.
16:40 "The Arrows being moved to a place of safety" - the outside of a fast bend! Love the 70s...
Real racing. Real MEN putting their butt's on the line. Hay Lewis drive this car. Your a spoiled cunt!
That season was fantastic 🏎🔥🔥
if you ever considered yourself brave, watch this and rethink
Jesus it’s Murray walker way back then
I love the computer titles jumping about all over the screen! 😂
Ahh I'm very thankful to BBC for keeping these old school races, when Formula 1 was a man's sport. Not like Spa 2021...😑 I'm glad to see drivers who risk it all and they don't complaining about the conditions. Respect for Nikki after his terrible crash to come and try to drive in this rain! Huge respect for the whole F1 grid from 1976 🙌
There is something seriously wrong with you if you like seeing people get injured or die.
Tires at that time weren’t as advanced as they are today, so these days makes it easier to drive under those conditions but if you race alone, for just one car, is fine. Not the same story for the other 19 cars at your back. the spray of water current cars take can be up to 90 liters per second. Is impossible to see a thing in heavy rain conditions!
@@mistakendawg8885 Not even mentioning that this comment is completely off base lmao. Drivers and teams definitely used to pull out of races if the conditions weren’t right or if the circuit wasn’t up to standard.
Just finished this movie and searched this 💯❤
